Installing Your Floors
Choose from our variety of hardwoods for installation in your home or business. We have everything from oak, maple and pine to specialty woods. Our products come in different widths and lengths and are able to be built into a sub-floor over concrete slab as well.
Hardwood Floor Sanding & Buffing
Our expert artisans are highly skilled and experienced with the finer points of floor sanding. We always sand layer by layer, uniformly and completely. For superior results, we perform 3 grades of sanding—rough, medium and fine. After sanding, we vacuum the room thoroughly (including walls and ceilings) and buff the floor using a fine abrasive screen to help tighten the wood grain before applying the finish.
Choosing & Applying Stain
Staining and finishing are the culminating steps that really show all the wood's character. This is where our expertise in selecting the right stains and completing the job is truly unparalleled. We take extreme care to avoid drips and thick overlaps of finish, to cover all surfaces evenly, and blend in brush marks.
Throughout every job we provide, we make use of the best and most proper equipment. We also take great care to keep loose fibers and dust of any kind out of the finished coat. To avoid spreading dust throughout the house, we hang plastic over the room's doorways and place rags or towels under doors and over vents.
Filling Gaps & Cracks
Variations in temperature and humidity cause the wood to expand and contract, sometimes creating small gaps and cracks. On every job, we thoroughly inspect all cracks and gaps, filling out all the unsightly ones before we sand.
